Jack Russell Terriers
share my home,
fill my life and
own my heart.
They are not my whole life but they make my life whole.

Wilverley Tannen
of Foxwillow
|
Tannen is now the spoiled
buddy of Ali G. of Edmonton.
Ali has been a
long-time friend and admirer of the Foxwillow terriers ...
Tannen and Fanny being his particular favourites! So it seems
only fitting that Tannen spend the rest of his life in the company of
Ali and his family! |
| Tannen is a lovely boy ...
confident and fearless, yet at home he is just a "wannabe" lap dog!
At four months of age I first
raced Tannen in the four to six month puppies class at Drayton
Valley. Young puppies are often more concerned with being locked
inside a strange box, and once the doors open don't really know what
comes next. But Tannen was inside the box, focused on the lure and
trembling with anticipation! Out he came and ran all the way to the
end and through the hole, well ahead by a long-shot!
And that is the way it has
continued ... Tannen has many racing championships, and his offspring
have followed in his footsteps. His tiny daughter Fanny (Foxwillow
Phantom) has his love of racing and is consistently ahead of much
larger competitors. His sons Monty and Oakley have each placed close
behind their dad, but so far haven't passed him!
Tannen
joyously embraces every new challenge, whether in the field, or
learning agility or flyball. He is wonderful with all people,
including children of all ages. |

Orchard Hill Cassidy
of Foxwillow
| My little girl Cassie stole my
heart from day one, and remains very dear to my heart. I found her
in North Carolina because I was looking for a sibling of my boy
Brockwood Tangle, who I lost at a young age, and whose loss left a
huge hole in my heart.
Cassie is a cuddly and loving and loyal little
miss, and will be part of my family for her lifetime. She has won
racing championships and excels in go-to-ground and trailing and
locating, and at home she has always been one of the first terriers of my
pack that I introduce a newcomer to. She gets along well with
other dogs, and is most content just hanging out with me!
She is a great little hunter -
below is a picture of her ripping bark from an old dead tree, trying to
get at the mice inside! On walks in the countryside, I have
learned to take along a pry-bar to "assist" in this task! |
